I provide a variety of services including individual nutrition counseling, comprehensive nutrient analysis, menu planning, recipe modifications, small group presentations, grocery shopping tours, pantry and kitchen assessments, cholesterol testing, blood pressure screening, body fat measurement, fitness assessments, and personal training.
As a registered dietitian (RD), I can educate and counsel you regarding food intake and menu planning. I can recommend appropriate yet simple changes to your dietary patterns so that you optimize nutrition, improve your health, prevent disease, achieve a healthy weight, and enhance performance.
As a registered nurse (RN), I have the knowledge and skills necessary to assess your specific needs and recommend appropriate steps to improve your overall state of health. Valuable experience in a variety of healthcare settings has taught me the importance of promoting health and preventing disease.
As a certified Health & Fitness Instructor (HFI) certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), I can prescribe safe and effective exercises and supervise your workouts in the comfort and privacy of your own home or at a local fitness center, whichever you prefer. I will provide motivation and encouragement as well as appropriate guidance and feedback during training sessions. I can work with you individually, with a partner, or in a small group.
As a certified group exercise instructor, I can organize and teach a variety of fun classes such as kickboxing and interval training in your community or at your place of work.
I see clients Monday-Friday and often make special arrangements for clients for Saturdays and Sundays. For the convenience and comfort of my clients, we usually meet at their home, school, or place of work. Depending upon the goal of the session, we might also meet at the local grocery store, a public park, or an exercise facility.
